At drop-off my daughter would have some difficulty going into the class but the staff settled her really well which helped her to eventually walk in with a hug.

Our space
Our Stockwell nursery is set inside a spacious church hall, giving every age group real room to spread out and learn. Low, open shelves hold hands-on materials for practical life, sensorial and early maths, so children choose their own activity and carry it through at their own pace.

Outdoors
Outdoor time is built into the daily routine, with open space for building structures and inventing new games, and an allotment where children grow vegetables and look after the minibeasts who share their garden. Trips to nearby Larkhall Park add even more space to explore.
Stockwell (Victoria, Northern) and Clapham North (Northern) tube stations are both within a 10-minute walk, plus Wandsworth Road rail station nearby. Buses run along Clapham Road and Wandsworth Road, with street parking available.

Fees, meals and funding information
Registration and deposit
- When we offer your child a place, a £50 registration fee (non-refundable) and a £200 deposit secure it. The deposit is fully refundable, or deducted from your final invoice.
Billing
- Fees are calculated by spreading your sessions across the 51 weeks we're open each year (accounting for bank holidays) into a fixed monthly amount.
- For funded places, monthly fees are calculated as (term-time weekly rate x 38 + standard weekly rate x 13) / 12.
- Payment is due by the 3rd of the month, in advance.
- We accept standing order, online bank transfer, cheque, and childcare vouchers from Computershare, Edenred, Fair Care, Sodexo, Care4 and Busy Bees.
- Full fees remain payable even if your child is away due to sickness or holiday.
- There's no charge for the week we close over Christmas.
- Fees are reviewed annually.
- A month's written notice is required to end a place.
Meals
Meal charges apply only to term-time-only attendance, based on your child's session type and nursery:
Stockwell:
- 30 to 50 hours, term-time only (8am to 4pm or 6pm): £5.70 per day
- 15 or 30 hours, mornings only: £3.54 per day
- 15 or 30 hours, afternoons only: £1.50 per day
Higham Hill and Northolt:
- 30 to 50 hours, term-time only (8am to 4pm or 6pm): £6.50 per day
- 15 or 30 hours, mornings only: £4.25 per day
- 15 or 30 hours, afternoons only: £2.00 per day
All-year-round attendance, at any nursery: meals are included at no extra charge.
Tax-Free Childcare
Tax-Free Childcare is a separate government scheme from the 15 and 30 hours funded entitlements. For every £8 you pay into an online childcare account, the government adds £2, up to £2,000 a year per child, or £4,000 for a child with a disability. It's available for children under 12, or under 17 for a child with a disability, and can be used alongside funded hours to cover the rest of your fees. Eligibility depends on your income and working status, ask us and we can point you to the official checker.

Yes, our Stockwell nursery accepts 15 and 30 hours funding for eligible families.
All 3 and 4 year olds in England can receive 15 funded hours a week. Eligible working families can receive up to 30 hours a week from the term after their child turns 9 months old until they start school.
How funded hours are used can depend on your child’s attendance pattern and place availability, so our Nursery Manager will explain the options and help you understand what you may be entitled to. You can also read our fees and funding guide.
The current rules provide 30 hours for 38 weeks of the year, subject to eligibility; the income threshold is based on each parent’s adjusted net income, not simply their salary.Fees depend on your child's age, the days you choose and whether you're using funded hours. Before your child starts, we’ll get to know them through a home visit, video call or phone call. This is followed by three gradual settling-in sessions: the first with you in the room, the second including around 20 minutes apart, and a slightly longer third visit to build their confidence. Every child settles differently, so we’re always happy to arrange extra sessions if needed. Their key person will continue to monitor how they’re doing and keep you updated once they start.
