Every child is offered a home visit before their first day, and settling-in sessions build gradually from two hours up to a full session without you there, with extra time added if your child needs it. You will hear from us the same day if anything happens, and we hold termly one-to-ones so you always know where your child is. We accept both the universal 15-hour funded place and the 30-hour funded place for eligible families, and our current Ofsted rating is Good.

The nursery is on Wood End Way in Northolt, which is a short distance from South Harrow by road or rail. Sudbury Hill Harrow and Northolt Park are the two rail stations closest to the nursery, and both are reachable from South Harrow without much difficulty. Northolt Underground station on the Central line is about a 15-minute walk from us if that suits your commute better. Families from South Harrow already use the nursery, so it is a route people manage every day.
Yes, we accept both the 15-hour and 30-hour funded places. Every three and four year old is entitled to 15 universal hours a week regardless of whether parents are working, so if your child is in that age group, you qualify for those hours automatically. The 30-hour place is different and is only available to working families where you and any partner each work at least the equivalent of 16 hours a week at minimum wage, and where neither parent individually earns over £100,000 adjusted net income. From September 2024 the 30-hour entitlement is also available to working families with children from 9 months old, again subject to those same working conditions. If you are not sure which you qualify for, it is worth checking your eligibility through the Childcare Choices website before you apply, and we are happy to talk it through with you when you visit.
We take children from 6 months through to 5 years old. Places do fill up, particularly for babies and for the September intake, so if you are thinking ahead it is worth getting in touch sooner rather than waiting until you need the place. We would rather have a conversation early and give you an honest picture of availability than have you ring in April and find we are full.
Our current Ofsted rating is Good. That means inspectors assessed our teaching, our safeguarding, our leadership and the overall experience children have here and found all of it to be good. We are happy to share the full report with you rather than just the headline, because the detail tells you more than the word on its own. You can ask us for it when you visit or we can send it to you beforehand if you would like to read it before you come.

If you decide to go ahead, we offer every family a home visit before their child's first day, followed by settling-in sessions that build gradually from two hours up to a full session without you there.
